Do Tolins World School admit students from overseas?


Yes, children of NRIs and those from overseas are also offered admission after fulfilling the mandatory rules of the Government of India.




Do Tolins World School admit students from other Boards?


TOLINS World School welcomes students from all corners of India. However, the students from other Boards are required to clear the written test and should fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by CBSE.

Is there an entrance test for children seeking admission?


Kindergarten : There will be an oral entrance test for Kindergarten Students and the admission can be confirmed after an interaction with the Principal of the school. Primary School, Middle School and Senior School : Admission can be attained after the child Appears for the entrance tests for the main subjects, English, Hindi,Science and Mathematics. Admission can be confirmed after an interaction with the senior management of the school.




Which documents are required for seeking admission in Tolins World School?


  1. Original Birth Certificate of the students as issued by the Statutory authorities
  2. Transfer Certificate from the previous School for the Admission to Std II onwards.
  3. Photocopy of the Progress/ report Card from the previous school.
  4. Four Passport Size colour photographs of the child.
  5. Inoculation Certificated (For students seeking admission for LKG & UKG).
  6. Passport Copy/Aadhar Card.




What is the admission procedure followed at Tolins World School?


Admission process is very simple at TOLINS World School. The students should apply on prescribed application form available either online or from the school office. They will be asked to take a written test followed by interview with Principal.




What should be my child’s age in-order to acquire admission in grade pre-nursery/ /KG/ Class I ?


Play Group: 2 and a half years as on 1st of June.
Kindergarten (L.K.G.): 3 and a half years to 4 and a half years as on 1st of June
Kindergarten (U.K.G.): 4 and a half years to 5 and a half years as on 1st of June
Class I : 5 and a half years to 6 and a half years as on 1st of June

Is this a Residential School ? What are the facilities ?


Yes, We offer air-conditioned boarding facilities to students from class II and above ( Boys & Girls ). We provide boarders with a happy, friendly and rewarding residential experience in a cozy, home-like environment. Boarders learn how to live, work and play together, sharing experiences with people from different cultural backgrounds. We aim to provide a caring ‘home away from home‘ for boarders, where they can enjoy happy and fulfilling lives as part of an international boarding community, having the feel of a large family.
We want life for our boarders to be an unforgettable experience which will prepare them for all they will encounter in later life.




Can we see the school?


Yes, you may visit the school at our office timings ( 09.00 am to 04.30 pm)




Does the school cater to children with special needs?


School provides the extra care and remedial classes for children who need special attention and care.




Does the school conduct any outbound trips?


Yes, School provides outbound trip for the students annually. These trips are optional.




Are Food being provided?


Good hygienic and nutritious Foods are provided to the students ( Breakfast, Lunch Evening Juice & snacks ).




How are parents informed about the progress of their wards?


All the remarks and progress reports are communicated to parents. Besides this parents are also informed regularly about their ward’s progress through the school diary. They can also meet the teachers in the Open Houses, which are held 4 times in a year or whenever required. If the parents wants to meet teachers, with a prior appointment they can.




How are the students assessed and evaluated?


We use the evaluation system prescribed by the CBSE Board.




Do Tolins World School provide school transport?


School transport is available at various points. However, the charges may vary as per the distance and from point to point. Our School bus ply within Aluva, Angamaly, Kalady, Perumbavur and Thrissur radius.




What facilities are available at Tolins World School?


Tolins World School provide all the facilities that should be available in a modern & progressive world class English medium school. Besides huge playgrounds, spacious classrooms, well-stocked library, well-equipped audio-visual room, computer labs and science laboratories, the schools also boast of a homely environment for children to bloom exquisitely. Boarding

What are the banned items for Hostel?


Mobile and Smart phones are strictly banned by the State Government. If such a phone is seized, a fine of Rs.25,000/- is levied and a parents letter is to be kept in report for check of Principal Any lapses will entail not only fine but removal of the child from school.
The school strictly prohibits pocket money. Parents are requested NOT to send money directly to the children. Students are not expected to have cash in their possession. All cash must be deposited with the school Accounts Office only.
Hostellers will not be allowed to keep and take medicines / tonics without the knowledge of the hostel warden / medical officer.
Prohibited Items: Any child caught with Cigarettes, Liquor, Tobacco, Gutka, Hukka etc will face immediate removal from the school.
Parents are requested to counsel children & ensure their ward do not bring prohibited items to the campus.
Expensive items: The school prohibits any expensive items such as jewellery, electronics costing above Rupees. 5,000/-. The school will not be responsible for any losses.




What are the laundry facilities?


We have automated laundry facilities and therefore you do not have to spend time to do your own laundry.




Can parents call daily?


No. Parents can all only on the stipulated date and time allotted for boys and girls.




Can students go out in the evenings or weekends?


Going out on a daily basis is not recommended. However, once in a month we provide outing for students along with teachers.




What do you need to bring with you?


The items that you have to bring with yourself to the hostel.Dress (formal or in formal),Uniform (including Wednesdays),Under wears Sportswear, Bath Towels, Handkerchief, Shoes (Casual),Bathroom Slippers Floaters (Black), Spectacles (Those who are using), Toiletries etc.




What are the items provided to each student in the hostel?


The list of items provided for each student consists of Bunk Bed,Mattress,Pillow, Study Table,Chair,Cupboard, Cloth Hangers
Bucket and Mug.
